My clients shoot the coolest weddings!

If you really know me, you know I love hockey. I can talk it up with the best of them. So when I saw my client Hoffmann photographer had shot the wedding of 2 time Stanley Cup winner Stephane Yelle, I was like... oh my gosh Hoff shoots hockey, this is one cool guy.

The wedding of Stephane & Susan was held at the exclusive and ever so fabulous One and Only Palmilla Resort, located at the southern most tip of Baja, Mexico.

A blast from the past

The House of Favors was a legend in the wedding industry, literally it was this business, about 20 years ago that elevated the idea of "wedding favors" in local and national markets. I should know, I got my start in the wedding field assisting the owner, my mother, Sana. She retired her legendary boutique business which was featured in everything from InStyle to Elegant Bride to Wedding Style by yours truly. Now, coincidentally she is at the helm of Hermes & Associates Creative Consultants, where we are together again!

Cutting Edge Photography

When I think of cutting edge photography, the name Jaysun McMillin comes to mind. One of the few photographers in San Diego, Ca. who to me, truly creates unique works of art. These are images from one of my favorite weddings of his that was published in Bride & Bloom magazine years ago. I keep thinking this guy needs to write a book and pour out his talent..

Vegas style

This super fun couple decided to renew their vows after 5 yrs of marriage, in Las Vegas. I just had to offer some ideas from this one, and show a couple who really did it, their way.. Kristin & Jared Spencer (who are wedding photographers coincidentally) put together a fun, hip, and stylish affair that had a guest list made up of former brides and grooms of Kristin Spencer Photography. Miss you guys!

A photographer with a vision...

My clients, past and present, have a vision... they are visioneries. For example, photographer Jasmine Star is blazing a trail to the top of her industry leaving others wondering... what is it about her, and her photography that gives her an edge above the rest.. Sweet treats that make an impression...

I've seen this new wave of "sweet tables" take over as a "wedding favor" substitute, and its been done to death in styles, colors, themes. You name it, I've seen it. A display of sweet indulgance that catches my eye is one that is above and beyond, one meant to leave a true impression on guests. Details Details event planning is the company putting on quite a production when it comes to sweet tables for their clients.
