MIA

Yes it's been awhile, a LONG while. My slow season or off season, has turned out to be non stop action. Personal parties I threw for my parents 40th anniversary, and then my dad's 70th birthday, and my (30 something!) birthday!

From there I jumped into planning a photo shoot for Grace Ormonde Wedding Style, and all I can say holy floral bouquets! I mean cutting edge, cream off the crop, even Grace texted me completely amazed that when she asked for "fashion-forward", that's exactly what my shoot delivered. You'll see it between the next 2 issues of Wedding Style. Shout out to M. Colon for shooting some great images that day.

I'm fast away at work now developing some ideas for break through, never been done ideas for photo shoots... Oh man, I cant wait to make this a reality because I know its going to start a trend, just like with the bridal shower!

Will be back to show off a taste of the party for my parents!

Inspiration

This post title was almost.. "These are a few my favorite things..", but it's also about what inspires you to create? I am inspired in different ways by designer shoots, used for ad campaigns and promos. This one by Louis Vuitton, I just love.

Not surprised to find out photojournalist Jennifer Lindberg was one of 20 photographers, out of thousands, to be chosen as having one of the best weddings of the year, and for the first ever Style Me Pretty glossy issue! So proud!

An exotic feature makes a statement!

It's probably the most exotic wedding feature I've seen in my 7 years as West Coast Contributing Editor of Grace Ormonde Wedding Style. No surprise it comes from the studio of Samuel Lippke! I'm so proud!

One astounding photographer

I made this amazing photographer find again, but this time its not wedding related. Marco Di Lauro's work made my heart stop. The most astounding photojournalist I've ever seen. Covering places of conflict like Afghanistan, Bosnia, Iraq, Israel, India, Kosavo, Egypt, Lebanon, Kenya, Uganda... and then turn around and shoot someone as glamorous as Angelina Jolie. No wonder this guy works with Getty Images. I didn't bother pasting any of his images here, because a visit to his website is a must. There's no way you wont be inspired by what you see on his website, so please share your thoughts..
